Google Chrome is an internet browser that comes default with a Google Apps for Education account. This post will outline some of my favorite tips about bookmarking I used while teaching and use now.

How to Bookmark

1. Open your Chrome Browser
2. Navigate to your favorite educational website
3. Click on the star to bookmark this page

Small Bookmark Icons

To create small bookmark links follow these steps.

  • Right click on the bookmark and select edit
  • Delete the name to use just the icon as a landing spot.

Manage Your Folders

1. Open your Chrome Browser
2. Right click on your bookmarks bar

3. Click on add folder in the drop down menu

4. Name the folder how it suits your bookmarks (games, home…)

5. Click and drag bookmarks into the folder OR when adding a new bookmark, change the folder before clicking Done
