Keynote is apple's presentation app. It is free and can be a great option for teachers to create interactive learning modules. Keynote is very easy to use on the iPad and the presentation tools found within it make it an even better option. This post will outline the creation tools and some of the key presentation tools.


  • Creation
    • Keynote comes with great, ready to use templates that make content creation quick and easy. Importing material is the same process as it is in pages, and numbers which becomes a very familiar process.
  • Presenting
    • There are great built in presentation tools found in Keynote including pens to highlight, point at and annotate on the fly.
  • Export
    • You can export this as a PPT, PDF, or another Keynote presentation.
