March marks the time when basketballs are flying, sneakers and screeching on the floor, and students are doing math! Believe it or not, all of those statements are true. This year marks the 4th annual Math Madness competition!  Students all across the globe compete the answer millions of math questions. Last years accuracy rating was an astonishing 83.9%, which is setting the bar pretty high for this year. All you need to do is create a FREE teacher account and provide access for your students. This years prizes include a classroom set of 30 Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 Tablets, a set of 15 Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 Tablets, $500 amazon gift card, and weekly prizes for a classroom ice cream party! The rules are pretty simple. 70% of your class needs to answer at least one question and all questions need to be answered at 70% accuracy for at least two consecutive weeks. The scores per classroom will be averaged from the best 4 of this 6 week competition. I hope you all consider implementing this into your room and take a shot at math!  |
