My Maps Pro is an amazing tool that integrates seamlessly with Google Forms. It is a fast, and easy way to get information from all over the globe in a matter of days. Creating global thinkers in your classroom is literally a few clicks away. This post will outline an example form that I sent out and provide you an opportunity to use me to get your own information.

First thing, would be to decide what information you would like to get from the other classrooms. This is extremely open ended. Here is a quick visual example of how your classroom would see the information.

Here are some examples off the top of my head that can tie into your curriculum:
  • Weekly Quiz's - Math, Reading, Science and compare answers on a global scale!
  • Ice Breakers - Color, sport, game, food...
  • History Study - National monuments, general knowledge
  • Science -  Statistics, Images, phases of the moon, sunrise times, temperature
  • Politics - Any questions under this would be interesting!
Once you have an idea about what you would like to learn, we can dive in. You can ask for my help in this step or you can go out on your own. I would recommend you ask for my help as I can help spread the word for you via social media and help make sure all of the steps are done correctly!

If you would like to go out on your own, here are the steps I would recommend you take:
  1. Create a Google Form with the questions you want answers to. Be sure you ask where they are located!
  2. Once your form is complete, share it via email, social media, basically anyway you can.
  3. When the responses are in, I can come and help you input your information into a Map. If you would like to try on your own, here is a post outlining these steps
