This under used tool that YouTube provides can create a multitude of check in's for your students. Layer on questions, links, or text on top of your YouTube videos to ensure the students are not dozing off. This also streamlines the path your students take to navigate the internet as they will click on a link after watching the video.


Here are the steps to get you started on annotating your YouTube videos
  • First, go to YouTube
  • Sign in using your Google email
  • Click on My Channel

  • In the top, middle; click on Video Manager

  • You will see a list of all the videos you have published. Click on edit and select Annotations from the drop down menu

  • A new page will open. Click on add Annotation and choose what you like. Explore these options and find good fits to your classroom!
